Vršac Castle, a symbol of the city and its glorious past, has proudly stood above Vršac for over 700 years. This beautiful monument today is not only a historical landmark but also a viewpoint from which Vršac and the surrounding areas can be seen as if on the palm of your hand. The height of the outer walls is 19.85 m, and the sides are 13.80 m and 11 m wide. For the first time, everything found in the fortress has been displayed to the public, conserved and prepared for visitors, offering them an authentic insight into the past of this significant historical monument.

The exhibition "Life in the Fortress in Medieval Banat" presents the history of Vršac as a political and cultural center, with thematic sections that include original medieval weapons, warrior equipment, and replicas of important artifacts.
Visitors can learn how soldiers defended the fortress through an exhibition of items such as a 17th-century Hungarian hussar helmet and a 16th-century cavalry cuirass, with a unique opportunity to see conserved findings from the fortress.
